.CN Registry Verification Process Change<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The .CN Registry (CNNIC) has announced changes to the real name verification process.  This will impact all domains under .CN (and all sub extensions),  .\u4e2d\u56fd (xn--fiqs8s),  .\u516c\u53f8 (xn--55qx5d) and  .\u7f51\u7edc (xn--io0a7i).  Real Name Verification was introduced by CNNIC in 2012, and all new registration since 2012 have completed real name verification, however domains registered prior to 2012 were not originally included in the process. From 1st January 2022 CNNIC will prevent renewal, transfer or update ownership of domains which the registrant name has not completed the real name verification process. Please reach out to your Customer Service Partner if you have any additional questions on the new process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DPML Block to Cover Additional TLDs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

DPML Blocks will be obtaining an additional 30 TLDs to the blocking service as a result of the Donuts Registry acquisition of Afilias\u2019 TLDs. This will go into effect beginning November 16th, 2021. The following are the new TLDs being added to the DPML<\/p>\n\n\n\n

.xn--mgbcpq6gpa1a (.\u0627\u0644\u0628\u062d\u0631\u064a\u0646 \/.albahrain) Launch Announcement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bahrain Registry (.bh) has announced the launch of a new IDN ccTLD xn--mgbcpq6gpa1a\/.\u0627\u0644\u0628\u062d\u0631\u064a\u0646 translating to \u201calbahrain\u201d. The launch will consist of three phases starting 1-Oct-2021 before General Availability in April 2022. Both the Grandfather and Sunrise phases will start 1-Oct-2021 for Registrants with an existing Bahrain domain or an active trademark in the TMCH. We are currently working to ensure our systems are set-up and ready to take orders. In the meantime, please reach out to your client service partner with any questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>DK Registry Moving to Registry-Registrar Model<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The .DK Registry is launching a new Registry-Registrar model. This model will allow CSC for easier management of the domains in the future and ability to automate the process. In preparation for these changes we will be making updates to our TLD requirements in the Domain Manager portal and your Customer Service Partner will let you know if any additional information will be needed to register domains going forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AdultBlock Qualification and .XXX SRB Update<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ICM Registry is expanding their eligibility for AdultBlock and AdultBlock+ services to include trademarks that are not in the Trademark Clearing House (TMCH) starting May 11th<\/sup>, 2021. Currently only those with trademarks registered in the TMCH and .XXX Sunrise-B Blocks are eligible to register AdultBlock services. Please reach out to your client service partner if you are interested in hearing more information on the AdultBlock services and eligibility expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, Sunrise-B Blocks will begin converting to AdultBlock services starting in December. If you have any questions please reach out to your client service partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top Level .AU Launch Announcement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The .AU Registry has announced the Top Level TLD will begin launching 24-Mar-2022 and we are working to ensure our systems are ready to take orders. In the meantime, please reach out to your client service partner with any questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

.BD Registry \u2013 Temporary suspension (Registration + Transfer)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The registry has implemented a temporary suspension to registration and transfer orders due to an ongoing legal matter within local Bangladesh court. This ongoing legal matter is a direct impact to the registry and they are diligently working to draft new regulations and procedures for registration orders. CSC will continue to monitor and evaluate the situation.  Please note this temporary suspension is an impact to all registrars that support .BD domain names. At this time DNS delegation is intact and sites are remaining active. CSC can still modify WHOIS details + DNS details, as well as renew domains (potentially subject to change).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
