Tony Chachere’s Creole Foods has filed a lawsuit in the US District Court for the Western District of Louisiana against a rival firm.<\/p>\n

The company believes its trademarks are being infringed by Big Easy Foods, which formerly held the licence for certain Tony Chachere food products.<\/p>\n

After the companies terminated their agreement, the two moved into competition with one another.<\/p>\n

Tony Chachere has accused Big Easy Foods of selling products which closely resemble its brand, wording, and packaging.<\/p>\n

Don Chachere, president and chief executive of Tony Chachere’s Creole Foods, described the company as “his grandfather’s dream”.<\/p>\n

“We owe it to Tony, our employees, and the millions of consumers that love this company to defend it to the best of our ability,” he stated.<\/p>\n
