.KW<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kuwait domain registry has announced the availability of top-level .KW domain registrations for the first time. This launch will take place between September 2024 and September 2025, beginning with a 6-month long Sunrise period. Applications during Sunrise will require a matching trademark and will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis. International trademarks are welcome, no local presence in Kuwait will be required. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

.BANK.IN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Reserve Bank of India is introducing  \u2018bank. in\u2019 and \u2018fin.in\u2019 domains.  The introduction of the exclusive Internet Domain, \u2018.bank.in\u2019 for banks, is intended to combat the increased instances of fraud in digital payments in India. This initiative is aimed at strengthening the cybersecurity framework and enhancing public confidence in digital banking and payment systems.  All Domain Registrations of \u2018.bank.in\u2019 domains for banks will be possible through the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), which has been authorized by National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI), under the aegis of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), to serve as the exclusive registrar for this domain. All banks registered in India and operating in India are advised to contact the IDRBT to confirm whether they are required to transition to the .bank.in domain. Premium Domain Name Changes at XYZ Registry<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The XYZ Registry has updated their premium pricing tiers for their .XYZ domains on August 26th<\/sup>, 2025. As part of this update, the registry will be removing more than 4,400 names from its premium list. Beginning on August 26th<\/sup>, these released names will no longer require a premium fee at registration. Please contact your Customer Service Team if you would like to review names being released for standard registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Premium Domain Name Changes at Radix<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Radix Technologies Inc. will be updating their premium pricing tiers for some .FUN, .STORE, .SPACE, and .TECH domains on August 19th<\/em>, 2025. As part of this update, the registry will also be releasing more than 40,000 names from its reserved lists and removing over 400 3-character and generic names from its .STORE premium list. Please contact your Customer Service Team if you would like to review names being released for registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

.JO \u2013 Jordan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jordanian Domain Name Registry has announced that the registration for premium .JO domains with fewer than three characters is now open to the public. This new policy allows individuals, businesses, and organizations to secure short, memorable, and highly valuable domain names under Jordan national digital identity.  One- and two-character .JO domain names, including combinations of letters and numbers (such as a.jo, go.jo, 4.jo, and 4u.jo), are now available for registration at a premium fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
