Under the new TRA policy, it is no longer required for your .om, .com.om, and .co.om domain names to match your company name, as long as it does not conflict with any registered trademark in Oman. As part of this update, the registry will also be releasing more than 40,000 names from its reserved lists. Prior to the globalization of the .CV registration rules in 2024, OlaCV preemptively reserved .CV domains corresponding to globally recognized trademarks and brands. During this Limited Registration period, these trademarked brands will have the opportunity to acquire their recognizable .CV domains before they are released to the general public. As a corporate domain registrar, CSC has been designated as a verified mark agent.
