Entertainment firm, Lionsgate, has already pioneered it with&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/thehungergames.movie\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">thehungergames.movie<\/a>, which is being used right now to promote the November 2015 release of Mockingjay Part 2.&nbsp;&nbsp;(Although there have&nbsp;been questions as to&nbsp;whether the timing of this domain activation broke ICANN rules. ICANN&#8217;s compliance department is <a href=\"http:\/\/domainincite.com\/18688-icann-compliance-probing-hunger-games-domain\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">currently investigating<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>The .movie domain solves the problem of serious overcrowding in .com\u2014freeing up moviemakers to create easily memorable URLs for their latest productions\u2014which will also tie-in neatly with hashtags and social media campaigns.<\/p>\n<p>It will be interesting to see how .movie features in our <strong>New gTLD Utilization report<\/strong>, available at <a href=\"http:\/\/newgtld.report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">newgtld.report<\/a>.
