.ASIA Top-Level-Domain Introduces Simplified Registration Process \u2013 Registrants Outside of the Region Benefit<\/strong><\/p>\n

Businesses and individuals acquiring .Asia names are no longer required to provide proof of locality during registration.\u00a0On July 15th, 2017, the .Asia Eligibility Requirements policy was officially updated to allow for easier registrations, especially for entities without a pre-existing regional address or proof of local I.D. This means anyone can now register a .Asia domain, even if they do not have a physical address within the region.<\/p>\n

.Boston delays start of General Availability<\/strong><\/p>\n

.Boston pushed back the start of the General Availability phase until October 10, 2017.\u00a0 The delay will allow more time for interested registrants to plan and prepare for the general release of this TLD.\u00a0 The move coincides with extending the Community Phase \u2013 now open from August 8 through October 6, 2017.\u00a0 Trademark holders should act quickly to register their preferred domain before the Community Phase begins.\u00a0 The Community Phase runs concurrently with the Sunrise Phase after the first week of the Sunrise Phase. All phases are first come, first served.\u00a0 The Sunrise Phase remains unchanged.<\/p>\n
