.Realestate Gets Ready to Move<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n The launch dates for the .realestate gTLD are approaching. A first-come, first-served Sunrise phase begins on July 28, 2018, and runs until August 27, 2018. Trademark holders are encouraged to register during this phase. Following this phase, members, firms and boards, licensees, affiliates and parties otherwise in a contractual relationship with the National Association of REALTORS\u00ae will be able to register domains in an exclusive Limited Registration phase. This phase will run from August 28, 2018, though November 26, 2018. The TLD will enter General Availability on November 27, 2018. Aside from the restrictions during the Limited Registration phase, .realestate will be open and available to all interested applicants. Please contact your Client Service Partner for more information.<\/p>\n DDoS Attacks Employed in Multiple Forms<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n For more than 20 years, Distributed Denial of Services (DDoS) attacks have been flooding legitimate websites and disrupting service. After all this time, however, DDoS attacks have not slowed, but rather intensified, and even varied in size and type.<\/p>\n In Q1 2018, observed that 58% of mitigated DDoS attacks employed multiple attack types. This included a 53% increase in the number of attacks, as well as a 47% increase in the attack peak sizes, when compared to Q4 2017; however, the attack peak sizes have decreased by 21%, year over year.<\/p>\n Hebrew IDN for .com Launches Soon<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Verisign announced the launch of their newest \u201c.com\u201d IDN language offering, Hebrew. .\u05e7\u05d5\u05dd (.xn--9dbq2a) joins their portfolio, which already includes Japanese and Korean versions of \u201c.com.\u201d All Verisign supported IDN languages will be available for registration. The launch begins with a Sunrise phase for trademark holders on July 30, 2018, and runs through September 4, 2018. This phase will be first-come, first-served. A Limited Registration phase for existing holders of a .com domain (in either ASCII or IDN scripts) runs from September 5, 2018, until November 4, 2018. General Availability begins on November 5, 2018.
