The impending introduction of a plethora of new top level domain names will change the face of Web address reselling, it has been claimed.<\/p>\n

According to Alexa Raad, the former chief executive officer of the .org registry, the walls between wholesale domain name sellers and companies that re-issue domain names to consumers are already beginning to crumble.<\/p>\n

The introduction of new top level domain names will only hasten this process and many domain name specialists will have to re-assess where they are positioned in the marketplace, Raad says.<\/p>\n

“The future landscape of the DNS market will be not only challenging but also promising,” she claims.<\/p>\n

Raad added that strategy development, benchmarking and portfolio diversification will all be key aspects of future domain name market dealings.<\/p>\n
