This represented a significant increase over 2009 revenues of $60.23 million.<\/p>\n<p>ICANN grew revenues from Internet registries to $31.91 million, up from $24.54 million in 2009, while $1.67 million was earned from country code Top Level Domains (ccTLDs), up from $1.57 million.<\/p>\n<p>A further $236,000 was earned through the new fast-track ccTLD request process.<\/p>\n<p>ICANN is responsible for managing Internet Protocol address spaces, and also assigning address blocks to regional Internet registries.<\/p>\n<p>At its recent meeting in Silicon Valley, ICANN announced plans to complete the process for final approval of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cscglobal.com\/global\/web\/csc\/newgtlds.html\">New gTLD<\/a> implementation program at an extraordinary meeting of its board in June.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has reported increased revenues for 2010.
