Peaks with no valleys; cyber crime is only increasing

The average peak size of DDoS attacks has increased by 82% since Q3 2015. The number of phishing attacks in Q3 2016 shattered all previous records. The largest distributed denial of service attack in the same quarter peaked at 620 Gbps. The IT industry, financial sector, and public sector are experiencing some of the largest attack sizes of late.

These statistics show that cyber crime is not slowing down anytime soon. Every day, it seems, there’s a news story about another digital crime being committed.
