The Singapore Network Information Centre (SGNIC), registry for the .sg ccTLD, has announced plans to release a select group of premium domain names.
The application period for these names will begin on January 1, 2013, and continue until January 31, 2013. The names are not being offered on a first come, first served basis; instead, multiple applications for the same name will result in an auction for that name.
A fully registered and matching trademark from Singapore for the requested premium domain name will be required.
