The Kuwait domain registry has announced the availability of top-level .KW domain registrations for the first time. This launch will take place between September 2024 and September 2025, beginning with a 6-month long Sunrise period. Applications during Sunrise will require a matching trademark and will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis. International trademarks are welcome, no local presence in Kuwait will be required.
Global Block update
Brand Safety Alliance the operator of Global Block product continues to experience a significant service interruption affecting the .SD ccTLD (Sudan) within the GlobalBlock Service. The .SD ccTLD is currently offline and as a result, the Global Block service is temporarily unable to support blocking under this TLD. All block registrations submitted after December 10, 2024, have been impacted, and will be activated immediately once the registry is back online.
Affected extensions include: .sd; .com.sd; .info.sd; .net.sd; .org.sd; .tv.sd
