Google Turns Another Page

Following the successful launch of .app, Google Registry plans to launch .page on August 27, 2018. The launch will follow the same guidelines as .app. Google added .page to the HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) preload list, which means that secure connections (SSL certificates) will be required for live sites. The use of HSTS requires registrants to take steps to configure HTTPS for their domains in order for them to work in all major browsers. With the exception of these security requirements, the TLD will be a regular, open TLD that is open to all interested applicants. The launch begins with a Sunrise Phase on August 27, 2018, which will run through September 26, 2018. Domains will enter General Availability on September 26, 2018, with a 7 day Early Access Program to start. For more information, please contact your Client Service Partner.
